| RELIGIOUS EMBLEMS IN
SCOUTING DIOCESE OF BRIDGEPORT 2011
The Diocese of Bridgeport will hold this year’s Religious Emblems in Scouting Awards presentation on Thursday, May 26th at 7:00 PM at St Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. in Trumbull. Scouts in full uniform should be at St Theresa Church by 6:30 PM. Please bring a can of non-perishable food for the needy with you. Cub Scouts working on Light of Christ and Parvuli Dei awards need to submit their completed applications along with a check for $15 payable to the Diocese of Bridgeport. Please note “Religious Emblems in Scouting” on the memo line. Send Applications and fees to Sr. Erika at the Catholic Center, 238 Jewett Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06606 on or before April 8, 2011. Scouts working on the following awards need a Board of Review: Ad Altare Dei, Pope Pius XII, Madonna, Marian, Mary the FIRST Disciple, SPIRIT Alive. Boards of Review will be held for Scatacook District at St Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Road, Danbury on Thursday, March 31, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the parish office community room. Boards of review at St. Gregory the Great operate on a first come, first served basis but please contact Ms Maryann Houser at 203-743-5168 or 203-743-5168 to indicate that you will be attending this session. Scouts reporting for a Board of Review should come in full uniform and must bring the materials they worked on together with a check for $15 payable to Diocese of Bridgeport.
