Scatacook District Fireside Chat with the New Scout Executive, Lou Salute

 Louis D. Salute has been selected to serve as Scout Executive of the Connecticut Yankee Council, effective September 16, 2003. Lou comes to our Council with 28 years of experience in the Boy Scouts of America and is currently serving as Scout Executive of the Catalina Council in Tucson, Arizona. Originally from New Jersey where he was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout, Lou has served as a District Executive in Detroit, Michigan; Field Director and Director of Development in Costa Mesa, California; Director of Field Service and Assistant Scout Executive in Sherman Oaks; then again in Costa Mesa, California as Director of Financial Services and Director of Field Service, until his promotion to Scout Executive of the Catalina Council in 1998. Scatacook District gives a warm welcome to Lou and his wife, Tina. |
